Our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Division prides itself in providing the highest level of quality emergency medical care to the citizens of Atherton, East Palo Alto, Menlo Park and Unincorporated portions of San Mateo County. Here at the District we have been providing Advanced Life Support to the communities we serve since 1994. Each of our 45 Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) and 58 paramedics employed by the District upholds a high level of clinical competency. Clinical aptitude is maintained in our District with continuous training related to the vast body of knowledge that is relevant to a first responder.

Our EMS Division has an ongoing Quality Management Program that improves processes and focuses on meeting or exceeding the expectations of the communities we serves. Our District’s Quality Management Program has:
